‘Frida After Dark Friday’ to feature popular film and mariachi performance

The City of Ocala will conclude the 2021 Tuscawilla Art Park Series with “Frida After Dark Friday.”

The event will be held March 26 from 6-9:30 p.m. at the Tuscawilla Art Park, located at 213 NE Fifth St. in Downtown Ocala.

“Frida” is a biographical film about the life of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo. Those attending the event will enjoy a live musical performance by Mariachi Orlando Internacional, The Mamas and the Tapas food truck, a cash bar sponsored by TriEagle Sales, artisan vendors, movie concessions and more.

General admission is free and open to the public. Attendees should bring their own chairs and blankets to create an outdoor theater under the stars amongst the sculptures and backdrop of historic Ocala Union Station.

Attendees are encouraged to wear face coverings, stay in familial pods and practice six feet social distancing from other pods and attendees. Seating areas have been marked to preserve social distancing and sanitizing stations will be located throughout the event and at the information booth.
