Ocala Public Works Department conducting sanitation customer survey

The City of Ocala Public Works Department plans to survey a random sample of its residential and commercial sanitation customers to gather feedback and better understand opinions of the city’s collection practices.

These survey responses will help guide Public Works in its decisions regarding sanitation collection moving forward.

The telephone survey will take place Monday, May 10 through Friday, May 14. A random sample of calls will be made to residents and businesses from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

If customers have caller ID, the phone number that will appear will be (352) 554-9093. If unavailable to answer when receiving this call, customers should not call the number to participate in the survey. Instead, customers should utilize the web-based survey links available on the City’s website to provide feedback.

The telephone survey will be conducted by Baldrige Group LLC, a performance-excellence consulting firm based in Sarasota with more than 30 years of experience in the industry.

Baldrige Group will maintain the anonymity of customers who participate in the survey. No information will be released that may, in any way, reveal their answers to the survey questions.

To reach a larger target audience, an online version of the survey will be available at www.ocalafl.org. Residential and commercial sanitation customers within the Ocala city limits are encouraged to participate in the survey to provide critical feedback on the provision of these services.
