Villages Resident: Golf carts should not operate on streets, ignore traffic signals and stop signs

To the Editor:

There should be no golf carts operating on any street where there is motor vehicle traffic. The white line on some of the heavily trafficked streets does not prevent golf cart operators from swerving into traffic lanes. Even in the various sections the golf cart operators proceed through stop signs without coming to a full stop. They also do not observe traffic signals while operating on golf cart paths and drive straight across into traffic when there is a red light and those entering sections that have a green light to enter a section. Again no golf carts on public streets!
