City looking to fill new art gallery space at Ocala International Airport

The City of Ocala is putting out a call to artists in order to fill a new art gallery space at the Ocala International Airport.

The city is issuing a call to artists for the “Art in City Spaces” exhibition program to be displayed beginning next year at the Ocala International Airport gallery, located at 1770 SW 60th Avenue, Suite 600.

The city says proposals are currently being accepted for shows in any 2D medium in the areas of abstracts, landscapes and aviation.

To be considered for the first available show date beginning January 2022, artists must apply by 5 p.m. Friday, October 1, 2021. Applications will remain open with selections made on an ongoing basis for this quarterly exhibition.

Applications are available online at the City of Ocala Art in City Spaces webpage.
