The City of Ocala Recreation and Parks Department will host a new DIY art class for seniors this month at the Eighth Avenue Adult Activity Center.
The Rejuvenate with the Arts program will take place on August 24, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The event will be held at the center, which is located at 830 NE 8th Avenue and is open to all people over the age of 50. The cost to participate is $5 per person.
Participants will get crafty with the DIY workshops to renew and discover their personal artistic abilities, says the department.
Face coverings are required to attend.
