The City of Ocala is hosting a therapeutic cooking class for individuals with special needs and disabilities next month.
Please Pass the Peas is holding its next cooking class at Barbara Gaskin Washington Adult Activity Center (210 NW 12th Avenue) at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday, January 6, 2022.
The class will offer a hands-on opportunity to learn new skills and make friends while preparing a full meal. Class participants will learn about nutrition, meal planning, budgeting, and safe food handling.
During next month’s class, participants will learn how to make a Chicken Pasta Bake.
Classes are held in-person, but there is also an option to participate via Zoom. There is a $5 fee per class.
