The City of Ocala Recreation and Parks Department is hosting a minibus trip to a nature exhibit in Gainesville for residents who are over the age of 50.
On Thursday, April 21 at 9 a.m., participants will meet at 830 NE 8th Avenue in Ocala, near Tuscawilla Park, for a minibus ride to the Florida Museum of Natural History in Gainesville.
Upon arrival, participants will get to explore the museum and its Butterfly Rainforest exhibit which features hundreds of free-flying butterflies and birds from around the world along with an assortment of other animals.
There is a $14 cost per person, and each participant will need to bring their own lunch.
