Robert “Bob” Anthony Bloom, born June 27, 1935 in Brooklyn, New York to Thomas Bloom and Mae Gannon Bloom, passed away July 20, 2022 in Ocala, Marion County, Florida.
Bob served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He participated and enjoyed various sports such as bowling, baseball, golf and later Cowboy Action Shooting. In these activities he made a great number of friends.
Bob retired from the Veterans Administration Medical Center, where he was Assistant Chief of Purchasing. He loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bob was proud of all of his children for their accomplishments.
Bob loved music, all kinds of music, liked watching the birds as he listening to their chirps, loved walking his dog Sebastian and visiting with neighbors. He had a good heart and was always helping charitable organizations such as St. Jude’s, Wounded Warriors, Toys for Tots and others.
He will be dearly missed and was loved by many friends and family. Bob will live in our hearts forever.
