The Ocala Wellness Community Garden will host its next Garden Replant Day on Saturday, August 27.
This weekend’s gardening event is free to attend and will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Ocala Wellness Community Garden, which is located at 2233 W Silver Springs Boulevard. During the event, participants will be planting fall seasonal seeds and tidying up the area.
Garden plots are available for $10 a year. The fee includes a raised garden for planting, soil, access to water and irrigation, gardening tools, and starter seeds which are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The community garden is a joint partnership between the City of Ocala, the Florida Department of Health in Marion County, and Feed the Need Garden.
