Margaret “Peggy” C. Blue, age 89, of Ocala, Florida passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022. Peggy was born in Upland, Pennsylvania on August 6, 1933 to the late Wilbur B. and Mildred B. (Baxter) Congleton.
Peggy was a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed rolling skating in her youth and this was how she met her beloved late husband of 57 years, Dale Lane Blue.
She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, shopping for makeup at Ulta and cooking. Peggy read her Bible daily and was considered a nurturer who loved animals. To say she was passionate about politics was an understatement.
Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Lane Blue.
Peggy is survived by her children, Keith Blue (Terry), Kathleen Blue, and Kristen Hoehn. She also leaves behind her five grandchildren, Jenell, Derek, DaLane, Krystal and Michelle and ten great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 5740 S. Pine Avenue, Ocala, FL 34480 on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 11:00 am. She will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL with her husband.
