Marion deputies looking for missing, endangered 14-year-old girl last seen in Ocala

(Update: The Marion County Sheriff’s Office announced on Tuesday evening that Kaylin Barnhart has been located and is safe.)

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to locate a missing and endangered 14-year-old girl who was last seen getting onto a school bus in Ocala on Monday morning.

According to MCSO, Kaylin Barnhart did not return home from school. She was last seen wearing a black and red Jordan hoodie, light gray sweatpants, white Converse shoes, glasses, a light blue Jansport backpack, gold hoop earrings, and a gold necklace that says “trust.”

Kaylin has a septum piercing and a nose piercing. She is 5’5” tall, she weighs approximately 110 pounds, and she has green eyes and blonde hair.

Due to Kaylin’s mental health state and the fact that she does not have her medication, her family and law enforcement are concerned for her well-being.
