(Update from the Williston Police Department: Takayia Jackson has been located and is safe.)
The Williston Police Department is asking for the public’s help to locate a 15-year-old runaway girl who has been missing since March 13, 2023.
Takayia Jackson was last seen at approximately 3:25 p.m. on March 13 at the Arbours of Williston Apartments in Williston, according to WPD.
In a social media post on Monday, April 10, the Williston Police Department stated, “We have information from multiple social media platforms that Takayia is possibly in the area but we need to physically make sure she is okay.”
The police department added that Takayia is not in trouble with law enforcement, and officers are just needing to verify that she is safe.
Takayia is 5’6” tall, she weighs 160 pounds, and she was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black shorts, and dark colored sandals.
