Man sought for questioning after boat burglarized in Marion County

A boat was burglarized in Orange Lake last month, and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to identify a person of interest in connection with that case.

On or around June 27, someone burglarized a boat that was parked at Sun Retreats in Orange Lake. According to the sheriff’s office, the suspect proceeded to steal some equipment from the boat.

MCSO stated that a surveillance camera in the area recorded a man who used his hat to cover another surveillance camera around the time of the burglary incident. He then proceeded to walk in the direction of the burglarized boat.
