A bundt cake business with hundreds of locations across the nation is working on its first location in Ocala.
Nothing Bundt Cakes is currently under buildout at 3411 SW 36th Terrance, Unit 2, next door to First Watch in College Plaza. The business replaces Weight Watchers Studio, which previously held the space for several years.
Nothing Bundt Cakes was founded by Dena Tripp and Debbie Shwetz in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1997. The company currently operates 500 locations across the United States and Canada.
According to corporate records, the Ocala location is owned by Quick Cakes Oca LLC, a Sarasota-based company owned by Derrick Robinson and Amber Robinson-Shelton. The couple also owns the Nothing Bundt Cakes franchise in Gainesville.
The company prides itself on its handcrafted bundt cakes and bundtlets, which are smaller bundt cakes. It also sells bundtinis, which are mini-bundts that are sold by the dozen.
Bundts come in a wide variety of flavors and can be stylized for multiple occasions, including birthdays, holidays, and sports gatherings, among others.
