The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office is currently conducting another search for a missing 67-year-old woman from St. Augustine who was last seen in the Ocala National Forest on March 10, 2023.
According to law enforcement, Theresa Hartley was last seen in the area of N Forest Road 88 in the Ocala National Forest, approximately one mile south of N Forest Road 66, near Lake Delancy.
On the day of her disappearance, Hartley was with a friend in the woods when their vehicle became stuck. The friend left to find help and advised Hartley to stay with the vehicle. By the time her friend returned to the vehicle, Hartley was missing.
“It is possible that (Hartley) has a mental condition and got lost,” stated the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office on social media.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, U.S. Forest Service, and multiple K-9’s are assisting in the search for Hartley.
