A pizzeria that opened recently in south Ocala announced that it will expand its hours and days of operation.
Zella’s Pizzeria opened its doors at 9460 S U.S. Hwy 441, Suite 6, in Frontier Plaza last year. The pizzeria took over a location that was formerly occupied by Woody’s Wild Wings, which operated out of the space for several years.
Owned by Hogan Richard-Heidorn, Zella’s serves New York-style pizzas, calzones, pasta, strombolis, wings, and other dishes.
Pizzas are available in 12, 14, 16, and 18-inch sizes, and the restaurant offers multiple specialty pizzas, including Hawaiian, meat lover’s, barbecue chicken, and chicken bacon ranch.
According to its website, Zella’s regularly offers special pizza and wing combinations for discounted prices. That includes an 18-inch, 3-topping pizza with 10 boneless wings for $29.99, and an 18-inch, 1-topping pizza with 20 bone-in wings for $38.99.
In addition to pizzas, the restaurant features a variety of appetizers like chicken tenders, fried ravioli, onion petals, and garlic knots, as well as subs (Philly cheesesteak, meatball, chicken parmesan), salads, and a collection of different entrees.
Zella’s Pizzeria is now open Sunday through Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
