Tickets for Ocala’s immersive Couch Sessions concerts now on sale

An interactive and immersive art and music experience that has been running strong in Ocala for several years will return for its seventh season this Summer.

Tickets are now on sale for the 2024 Couch Sessions, which kicks off in June. The group shared links to its “CS Passport” ticket option, which allows customers to buy tickets to all of the performances for the upcoming season.

The first show will take place on June 7, 2024, at the House of Shoogie, located at 1601 SW College Road, Suite 201, within the REGEN Ocala building. That session will feature performances by Lavana Korr and Kendra Brazzel.

Three additional shows will take place over July, August, and September at different local venues across the city. In November, the organization will host a fifth “Encore” show at REGEN Ocala.

Founded by Mike Wall, Olivia Ortiz and her husband, Tony, Couch Sessions is dedicated to providing the community with access to fine arts and music in a collaborative experience.

During each show, guests will get the chance to listen to a local performer play live music, while delving deeper into the artistic process and sharing openly with that performer.

While that performer plays live music, an artist will simultaneously work to create art live in front of the audience.

The group regularly hosts its shows in small businesses in order to stimulate commerce.
