Christine Stanton, born June 6, 1937 in Hartford, CT, 86 years old, of Ocala FL, (formally from Enfield, CT), beloved Mother passed away peacefully on the morning of Saturday, April 6, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her husband Duke Stanton of 40+ years in January of 2024 and her Grandson Jeremy Harvey.
She is survived by her children Linda Harvey (Joe Swan), Karen Harvey, Bernice King (Charlie King), Jim Harvey, Tony DeMonte (Sandie DeMonte) and Steve DeMonte (Nancy DeMonte). She is also survived by her Grandchildren AJ DeMonte, Josh DeMonte, Seth DeMonte, Micheal DeMonte (Jodi DeMonte), Krystal DeMonte, Rocco Harvey, Teresa Harvey, Jerimiah King, Jennelle King, Jason Harvey, Justin Harvey as well as many great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was very attached to her two dogs Rex and Bronson. She enjoyed crocheting, making sauce for dinner, baking cakes as well as the occasional visit to the casino to play the slots and bingo. She was an avid fan of the UConn Huskie basketball teams as well as the New York Yankees. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Services will be April 13, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Roberts of Ocala Downtown Chapel 606 SW 2nd Ave, Ocala, FL 34471.
