In loving memory of Olga Gomez de Flores, who graced this world for 102 remarkable years, she peacefully departed on Sunday, April 21, 2024, in Ocala, Florida. Born on February 28, 1922, on Margarita Island, Venezuela, to Lino and Sabina Gomez, Olga leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and unwavering kindness.

Throughout her life’s journey, Olga embodied a remarkable fighting spirit, touching the lives of many with her boundless compassion and zest for life’s adventures. A beacon of strength and warmth, she was cherished as a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to countless souls within her community.

Olga’s pursuit of knowledge was as inspiring as her generous heart. A dedicated educator in her youth, she later embarked on a new chapter, achieving her dream of becoming a lawyer, even in her senior years, proving that one is never too old to pursue their passions.

Joined in eternal love with her soulmate, Oscar Flores, who preceded her in death in 1993, Olga leaves behind a cherished legacy carried on by her three children: Olga Flores-Peruchini, Oscar Flores, and Omar Flores, along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and daughters-in-law, Milagros and Malena Flores.

As the heart of her family, Olga’s love knew no bounds, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who were touched by her presence. In celebration of her remarkable life, a private ceremony will be held on Monday, May 13th, 2024, at Our Lady of the Spring Catholic Church, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
