A 12-acre horse farm in northwest Marion County was just sold for $2,200,000, one day after a 100-acre horse farm less than 10 miles away was sold for $6.4 million.
Located at 13650 NW 87th Avenue Road in Reddick, the 12.04-acre property was sold by Theresa L. Brown to High Road Farm, LLC, on November 27, according to a deed filed with the Marion County Clerk of Courts.
According to Marion County property records, the site was purchased by Brown for $1,800,000 in September 2022.
State corporate records show that High Road Farm, LLC, is registered to Christopher Sanger and lists an address is Delaware.
According to a listing by Showcase Properties of Central Florida, the equestrian property features a 12-stall, center-aisle barn that is complete with a tack room, a feed room, a laundry area, and a full bath.
The property also features a 2,088-square-foot, 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home that was built in 2006.
In addition to the barn and home, the site features a 9-stall annex barn, 13 paddocks, a 5-bay equipment building, and a riding arena.
A day before the horse farm in Reddick was sold, a 100-acre horse farm in Ocala within the county’s Farmland Preservation Area was sold for $6.4 million.
Both of those properties were sold less than four weeks after a 38.65-acre property nearby was sold for $3,665,000.
A few weeks before that, another nearby, nearly 47-acre portion of a horse farm in northwest Ocala was sold for $4,400,000.
