A Texas-based vineyard is now serving its award-winning wines at a new tasting room in downtown Ocala.
Barons Creek Vineyards officially opened its doors on Friday, May 9. The new tasting room is located at 16 SW Broadway Street, in the former Corkscrew Winery.

Ocala-News.com first reported the new location was on the way earlier this year.
Barons Creek Vineyards was founded in Fredricksburg, Texas, as a boutique winery. The organization currently operates several locations across the state of Texas, as well as a 144-acre property where the company grows Merlot, Temp, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Viognier. Additionally, the business grows Grenache and Carignan at its Wine Makers Vineyard in Catalunya, Spain.

Visitors may purchase wine tastings for $25 per person. The establishment offers a selection of different flights and also serves locally sourced charcuterie and small plates to pair with its wines.

“Whether you’re a seasoned sipper or just here for the vibes, our tasting room offers a fun and welcoming atmosphere to unwind and explore your new favorite wines,” reads a statement from the company’s website.
According to its website, Barons Creek Vineyards is open six days a week, Tuesday through Thursday from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. For more information, visit Barons Creek Vineyards Ocala online.
