The first Sprouts in the Ocala area will open its doors in a matter of weeks.
The new grocery store announced that it will host a ribbon cutting at its new store on July 11, 2025.
Located at 8430 SW Hwy 200, the store will host a series of promotions for the grand opening and will give away free, reusable bag, to the first 200 in-store shoppers on July 11 and July 12.
The 23,256-square-foot retail building that will house the city’s first Sprouts was recently listed for sale for just over $11.7 million. According to a listing from Ladt Patel Investment Advisors, the property comes with a 15-year lease with the grocer.
The new grocery store will be located between SW 103rd Street Road and SW 100th Street, along the north side of SW State Road 200.
The site was originally approved for the construction of Corta Commons, the name of the plaza, and residential townhomes just over a year ago. The final master plan for the property was approved in August 2024.
In addition to Sprouts, Chipotle is also under construction at the plaza, as well as a Tropical Smoothie and a Mattress Firm.
There are over 450 Sprouts locations across the United States, including nearly three dozen in Florida.
