Friends and family are mourning the loss of Krystal Tison (37), Anthony Michael MacAllister (36), and Jasmine Brown (22), Ocala residents who were tragically killed in three separate fatal motorcycle accidents over the weekend.
The first two fatal accidents occurred within an hour of each other on Saturday, March 21, and the third occurred on Sunday, March 22, at approximately 2:18 p.m.
In the first accident, Tison was traveling northbound on U.S. Highway 19 in Citrus County at approximately 8:25 p.m. on Saturday when she attempted to overtake a Jeep Cherokee towing a trailer. Her motorcycle struck the trailer and she was ejected into the roadway, where she was struck by a trailing SUV.
Tison’s sister, Charissa Driskill, shared a moving tribute on social media, saying her sister was a “beautiful soul” who was lost too soon.
“The world lost a beautiful soul last night. It’s not fair. You’re my baby sister. We were suppose to grow old together. I’m going to miss your laugh, our venting sessions, gossiping at family events… I love you forever, Krystal,” reads a post by Driskill.
Brown lost her life at approximately 9:30 p.m. Saturday on I-75 in Marion County. Investigators report her motorcycle was rear-ended by a sedan, throwing her into the center lane where she was fatally struck by an SUV.
Brown leaves behind two young daughters, Iris and Lilly. Family members described her as a kind and compassionate mother who “loved the bike community” and “knew how to light up a fire in anyone’s heart.”
A GoFundMe has been established on behalf of Brown’s family to assist with cremation expenses and provide future support for her children.
The third fatal accident occurred Sunday afternoon, March 22, at the intersection of SE 95th Street Road and SE 170th Avenue Road in Ocklawaha.
MacAllister was traveling westbound at 2:18 p.m. when an SUV traveling in the opposite direction made a left turn into his direct path. MacAllister’s motorcycle struck the SUV and he died at the scene.
MacAllister was the sole provider for his wife, Trina, and their three children (Serenity, Zeke, and Hope). On Monday morning, Trina shared a photo that she and the late MacAllister had taken during a recent beach trip.
“I keep looking at the door hoping you’ll come home. I’m so glad I pushed for this beach trip. Our last pictures together were so special,” reads a brief statement accompanying the photo.
A GoFundMe has been established to help the family cover daily bills and living costs. Additionally, a Meal Train has been organized to provide dinners for the family in the coming days.
Before this weekend, there were at least 34 accidents in Marion County this year that involved motorcycles. At least two of those incidents resulted in fatalities.
In 2025, approximately 22 individuals lost their lives while riding motorcycles in Marion County.
