The Ocala Breeders’ June Sales event will feature over 900 horses for sale, following March and April events that saw the sale of more than 1,000 horses for over $185 million.
On Tuesday, May 5, Ocala Breeders’ Sales (OBS) announced that its catalogue currently features 909 horses scheduled to participate in the 2026 June Two-Year-Olds in Training & Horses of Racing Age Sale.
That sale will take place over three days from June 16 to June 18 at the OBS facility, which is located at 1701 SW 60th Avenue in Ocala.
Each day will see the sale of about 300 horses. An under-tack show to demonstrate the horses’ abilities will be held from June 9 to June 13, starting at 7:30 a.m. each day.
During last year’s June event, a total of 502 horses were sold for over $25.6 million, including one horse that sold $975,000.

That horse (Feminism) went on to win its first time out on a race track on April 2 at Oaklawn Park.
Through last weekend’s Kentucky Derby, which featured multiple horses with connections to Ocala and Marion County, Ocala Breeders’ Sales has already recorded over $185 million in sales.
The organization’s April event saw the sale of 600 horses for over $113 million, including one horse that broke the $10 million sales mark for the first time. The previous all-time record was $3 million, which was set last year.

The March Sale concluded similarly with a record-setting $72,050,000 in total gross sales from over 440 horses, including a $2 million top-selling horse.
