A commercial property situated along a high-traffic corridor in southeast Ocala was just sold for over $1.3 million.

Maricamp Land LLC sold the multi-acre property comprised of two parcels to WMG Acquisitions LLC for $1,345,000 on June 18, according to a deed filed with the Marion County Clerk of Courts on June 23.

The property is located along State Road 464/SE Maricamp Road and sits directly adjacent to several recently developed businesses, including Wendy’s, Caliber Car Wash, Tractor Supply Co., and Aldi, among others.

Marion County property records show that one parcel is approximately 1.02 acres in size and the other is approximately 1.29 acres.

State corporate records show that Maricamp Land LLC is registered to John S. Rudnianyn and the Peek Family Limited Partnership. The purchasing entity, WMG Acquisitions LLC, is based out of Winter Garden and is registered to managers Jonathan Brumleve and Curtis Frost, along with Craig Kopko and Davey Brown.

The property is surrounded by several other retail sites that have been built in recent years, including a Caliber Car Wash, a Wendy’s, a Firestone, and an Aldi.

According to a sales brochure for the property, which is part of the Maricamp Market Centre, the site was previously advertised for a ground lease or a build-to-suit project.

The sale of yet another commercial property marks yet another large real estate transaction in Marion County this year.

Just a week prior to the sale, another commercial property along West Silver Springs Boulevard was sold for just under $2.8 million.

A week prior to that, commercial site in Belleview was sold for $3.75 million. The developer of that site plans to build a new, grocery-anchored shopping center on the property.

Last year, a Firestone Complete Auto Care that is situated in the same development as the newly sold property was acquired by the owner of a Pennsylvania-based snack food company for $4.54 million.
