A box truck overturned on Interstate 75 early Monday morning in Marion County, causing traffic delays for several hours.
The 2018 Peterbilt truck was traveling in the center lane at 4:45 a.m. north of U.S. 27 when its driver, 41-year-old Zhengjun Lu, lost control of the vehicle, a Florida Highway Patrol report says. The overturned truck blocked both the inside and center lanes of northbound I-75, the FHP report says, adding that lanes were still reported blocked at 7 a.m.
Lu, who wasn’t injured in the crash, was cited for careless driving.
