The Florida Highway Patrol is advising Central Florida motorists to take precautions while driving on SW 49th Avenue near the Greenway State Park in Marion County.
A 159-acre prescribed burn was planned for the area Monday and FHP officials say visibility could quickly deteriorate, especially during the night and early morning hours. Motorists also are reminded to reduce their speed and utilize low-beam headlights in order to adapt to changing weather conditions.
