Ocala man behind bars for 17th time after car crash

Keith Edward Kinnecom

An Ocala man who’s been arrested 17 times since 2006 was charged for the third time with driving with a suspended license after a car crash on Monday.

An Ocala Police officer responded to the crash scene at 3021 NW Blichton Road, where he spoke with Keith Edward Kinnecom, 31, who was the driver of a white 2002 Ford that was involved in the accident. Kinnecom told the officer his license was suspended, according to the OPD report.

A search of the Driver and Vehicle Information Database (DAVID) showed Kinnecom was charged with driving with a suspended license two prior times and his license has been revoked since April 2011. Marion County Jail records show 16 prior arrests on charges including burglary, theft, fraud, dealing in stolen property, reckless driving, DUI, drug possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, introducing contraband into a detention facility, and child abuse.

Kinnecom was taken to the Marion County Jail, where he was released later in the day on $2,000 bond.
