Construction is steadily progressing as the Humane Society of Marion County’s new 5,700 square-foot clinic takes shape.
The Humane Society of Marion County (HSMC) is located at 701 NW 14th Road in Ocala, and the upcoming expansion will offer adequate space for veterinary staff to provide a variety of services, including wellness, vaccines, spaying and neutering, and emergency lifesaving surgeries.
The clinic will also be used to care for the nonprofit organization’s sheltered animals.
In a social media post, HSMC was excited to share photos as the clinic’s construction moves along at a rapid pace.
“Inside these four walls will be some of the best qualified and caring veterinary staff you can find,” stated HSMC on its Facebook webpage.
There are still funding opportunities available for anyone who wishes to make a tax-deductible donation to the nonprofit organization, ranging from buying a brick to dedicating a room based on the square footage, according to HSMC.
