The Marion County Children’s Alliance is currently accepting nominations for two annual awards recognizing local organizations that help the youth in Marion County.
Each year, the Dr. Mike Jordan Award of Excellence and the Vision Award are given to organizations doing exceptional things for the children of Marion County.
This year’s awards will be presented by the Marion County Children’s Alliance at the 5th annual Children First Gala, which will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 13 at the Country Club of Ocala (6823 SE 12th Circle in Ocala).
Nomination forms for both awards are available online, and the deadline to submit a nomination is at 5 p.m. on Monday, April 3. The completed forms can be submitted online, via email (executivedirector@mcchildrensalliance.org), via mail (Marion County Children’s Alliance, P.O. Box 3862, Ocala, FL 34478), or dropped off in-person at 3482 NW 10th Street in Ocala.
In addition to the awards ceremony, the upcoming Children First Gala will also include dinner, music, a cash bar, and stories highlighting some of the successes of the Marion County Children’s Alliance.
