  • How the students are taught and how they learn.
  • School Choice.
  • Creating a safe and positive environment for learning and working.
  • Exceptional Student Education.
  • Transporting and feeding tens of thousands of students each day.
  • How business partners and volunteers help meet the school district’s critical needs.

Applications are available on the Leadership MCPS Class II webpage, and the completed applications must be submitted by no later than Monday, June 12. MCPS employees are not eligible to participate in this program.

Confirmation of acceptance into the upcoming Leadership MCPS program will be made in late June, and the first session is scheduled for Friday, August 25. A one-time enrollment fee of $300 is required for those accepted, and it covers expenses such as breakfast and lunch during the session dates.
