Marion County Utilities has lifted the planned precautionary boil water notice for customers within the Rainbow Lakes Estates community.
On Tuesday, December 19, the boil water notice was issued as a precaution after crews installed 1,370 linear feet of new pipe, which briefly required a complete shutdown of the facility serving these customers.
According to Marion County Utilities, the satisfactory completion of a bacteriological survey has shown that the water is safe to drink.
Marion County Utilities is notifying all affected customers via emails, interactive community calls, media release, and/or social media.
