Pennsylvania man arrested after deputy finds him asleep at the wheel

MCSO

A Pennsylvania man was arrested Sunday night on East Highway 40 when a Marion County Sheriff’s deputy spotted him asleep behind the wheel, a report states.
William J. Love was charged with driving with a suspended or revoked license and possession of marijuana less than 20 grams. He was booked into the Marion County Jail on a $1,500 bond.
According to the report, a deputy was directing traffic at a crash in the 9300 block of East Highway 40 when he saw Love asleep behind the wheel of his 2006 Silver Chevrolet. The deputy said that after he woke up Love, the 31-year-old said he didn’t have a valid driver’s license and produced a Pennsylvania identification card. The deputy said he soon discovered that Love’s license was suspended and that he didn’t have a valid Florida driver’s license.
The deputy also reported that after arresting Love, he found a jar inside the vehicle that contained four grams of a “green, leafy substance” that tested positive for marijuana. The report states that Love admitted the marijuana was his.
The report lists Love as the manager of Rice Horse Farm. It’s not clear if he was in the area for this week’s Ocala Breeders’ Sale, which begins Tuesday and runs through Friday.
