Alfred Reece, Sr., was born August 13, 1922 to the late George and Daisy Reece in Marion County.
He accepted Christ at an early age at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. Alfred received his formal education in the Marion County school system. He served in the United States Army during World War II and visited several foreign countries.
Alfred leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife, Johna Bell Reece; one son, Alfred Reece, Jr. (Dottie); one daughter, Clara Reece from Alabama; one brother-in-law, Joe Danzler; and a host of sorrowing nieces, nephews and friends.
A public viewing will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018 at Clark Funeral Home, 434 NW Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue, Ocala, FL, 34475 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church (Cotton Plant, FL).
