Crews from Marion County Fire Rescue battled a mobile home blaze in Ocala on Thursday afternoon.
Firefighters were called to the incident in the 3000 block of SW 87th Place shortly after 1 p.m. and when they arrived, they found the structure fully involved in flames. A resident of the home was transported to a local hospital.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze and no injuries were reported to firefighters on the scene. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
