The Dunnellon Tigers 8-years-old and under football team and cheerleaders are looking for financial assistance from the community to attend a state competition.
The Dunnellon 8U D-Town Tigers and cheer squad will both compete on Saturday, November 20, in North Naples, Florida. The football team will play a third round regional playoff game, while the cheerleaders will compete in a regional cheer competition that they won last year.
In 12 games this season, the football team scored 389 points, while only allowing 37 points from opposing teams during that same stretch.
“We are doing this fundraiser to help offset players’ travel expenses as we road trip to Naples on Friday night,” reads a post from the organization. “Thank you in advance for supporting these boys!”
