Elmer E. Farrell, Jr., 92, of Weirsdale, Florida passed away at Cornerstone Hospice of The Villages on February 9, 2022. He was born August 27, 1929, the son of the late Lena and Elmer E. Farrell, Sr. Elmer was a native of Connecticut before moving to Central Florida in 1973. He was a mechanic by trade and in his free time, Elmer enjoyed tinkering with equipment, fishing, and hunting. Elmer is survived by his children, Julie, Michael (Brenda), and David; grandchildren, Sarah, James, Kasi, and Hannah; two great-grandchildren; and his sister. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Agnes Hendricks; and his children, Robert Farrell and Gwen Perz. A funeral service for Elmer will be held on Friday, February 18 at 11:00am. Visitation will be held from 10:00am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
