The City of Ocala’s Customer Service office is currently experiencing technical issues with inbound calls.
Residents who are calling the 352-629-CITY (2489) telephone number may experience a disconnection when speaking with an operator, according to a press release from the city.
During the technical difficulties, residents may be asked to provide their name and telephone number at the beginning of the call so a representative may call them back in the event of a disconnected phone line.
Technicians have been alerted and they are actively working on resolving the issue. The intermittent phone outages have been isolated to inbound calls only, and outbound calls have not been affected.
