The Marion Cultural Alliance is offering an opportunity for its senior artist members to participate in an upcoming ‘Art of Aging’ exhibit.
The exhibit, which will run from August 6 through August 27, is in partnership with Marion Senior Services and will celebrate aging through art, stories, and education.
This year’s prompt is “The Secret of Life,” and each artist is encouraged to submit up to two pieces for consideration. According to MCA, all mediums are welcome, and the work must be original and not previously exhibited in the gallery.
In order to be considered for the upcoming exhibit, each artist must be at least 55 years old and an MCA Artist member. All images and entry forms must be received via email by no later than midnight on Monday, July 25 to be eligible.
