Carlos Jorge Candeias Cabral, 65 years old, of Ocala, FL, passed away on April 23rd, 2023.
Carlos was born in Lisbon, Portugal to Jose Cabral and Maria Cabral (Candeias) on August 5th, 1957. He went to high school in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, and served in the United States Navy until he was honorably discharged. He went on to receive an associate degree in computer programing technology from the Rhode Island Institute of Technology in 1986. He then attended Central Florida Community College and earned an associate degree in nursing in 1995. He worked as a registered nurse until 2022.
Carlos is survived by his children, Nicholas Cabral of Ocala, FL, Austin Cabral of Ocala, FL, Olivia Cabral of Ocala, FL, his grandchildren, Stephanie Cabral, Katelyn Cabral, Samuel Cabral, and Hazel Cabral all of Ocala, FL, his sister, Maria Roque of Ocala, FL, his niece, Sandra Roque of Boston, MA, and his nephew, Victor Roque of Ocala, FL.
Carlos loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed soccer, cooking, and making people laugh. He was extremely proud of his Portuguese heritage. He touched so many lives, and his loss will be felt by many.
A celebration of life will be held on May 20th, 2023, starting at 10am at his house. All are welcome to come share stories and enjoy the company of those who love him.
