The funds raised from this year’s event will be used directly within the local community. Interfaith Emergency Services provides a wide range of services and assistance to residents in need. Kimberly’s Center for Child Protection provides a safe and comforting environment to child victims of physical or sexual abuse. The Marion County Literacy Council provides GED testing and other resources to help adults improve their literacy skills.

Marion County Literacy Council Volunteer Executive Director R.J. Jenkins stated, “It’s not just about money. It’s not just a gift of resources. It’s also a gift of bandwidth to help people who deserve our help.”

Since 2014, the Brick City Beer and Wine Festival has helped raise over $420,000 for local nonprofit organizations. To learn more about the annual event, visit the Brick City Beer and Wine Festival website.
