The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is looking for Robert Ralph Harraman III in connection with the theft of a van

According to Sheriff Woods, Harraman stole a woman’s green 1996 Chevrolet Astro van and then sold it to a reputable company that required a copy of his driver’s license and thumbprint, among other paperwork, in order to complete the sale.

“Now, Robert, you helped us identify you as our thief, so how about you help us again by turning yourself in,” stated Sheriff Woods. “We all know you stole and sold the victim’s vehicle, and we can’t have you stealing from more citizens.”

A warrant has been issued for Harraman’s arrest. “Citizens, we all know he isn’t going to turn himself in, so we will need your help,” added Sheriff Woods.

If you have any information on Harraman’s whereabouts, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office asks that you call the Crime Stoppers of Marion County at 352-368-STOP (7867) and reference 23-41 in your tip. If you use Crime Stoppers and your tip leads to an arrest, you could be eligible for a cash reward.
