A new Japanese-style Zen Garden is now open at Sholom Park.
The serene one-acre garden is located within Sholom Park (7110 SW 80th Avenue in Ocala), and it is open to the public.

In a social media post on Wednesday, Sholom Park extended an invite to the local community to “embrace an authentic journey of transcendence amidst nature’s splendor” with a visit to the Zen Garden.

At the center of the garden is the Zen Ocean, an observation deck, and symbolic islands that represent impermanence, perseverance, and harmony, according to Sholom Park.

In addition, the Zen Garden features a raking garden for meditation, a torii gate, dry stream beds, stone lanterns, bamboo fencing, and fountains that aim to create an atmosphere of balance and harmony.
