Korean hot pot spot ‘coming soon’ to Ocala

A highly anticipated Korean restaurant says it is “coming soon” to Ocala.

KPot Korean BBQ & Hot Pot is working on opening its new location at 2621 SW 19th Avenue Road, replacing Logan’s Roadhouse, which closed its doors in 2020.

On Monday, October 2, the company posted a brief statement through social media alluding to its opening, but not naming a date.

“We’ll see you soon Ocala!” reads the post, with a series of hashtags and a photo that reads “Coming Soon.”

Currently, KPot is in the midst of opening dozens of new locations all across the United States. That includes the Ocala location, which is one of a dozen new locations opening across the state of Florida alone.

That group will join four other restaurants that are currently open in the Orlando area.

Located near J Rocks Pizzeria, Red Crab Juicy Seafood, and the recently opened Big Lee’s BBQ, KPot joins a growing number of restaurants that have opened their doors in 2023.

Last week, Benmar Construction announced that Mellow Mushroom’s new location in Ocala, which was first reported by Ocala-News.com in 2019, is also “coming soon” to downtown.
