Marion County Utilities has lifted the precautionary boil water notice for customers within the Silver Springs Woods and Silver Springs Village communities.
At 8 a.m. on Tuesday, the boil water notice was issued as a precaution due to planned water plant maintenance.
In a media release on Thursday morning, the county stated that a bacteriological survey has been completed, and the results show that the water is safe to drink.
All affected customers are being notified via emails, interactive community calls, media release, and social media.
