‘Major traffic accident’ closes northbound lanes of I-75 in Marion County

(UPDATE: The left and center northbound lanes of I-75, near mile marker 357, were reopened at 1:12 p.m. on Wednesday.)

Motorists traveling northbound on Interstate 75 in Marion County are experiencing traffic delays on Wednesday morning due to a multi-vehicle crash.

Shortly after 10:20 a.m. on Wednesday, Marion County Fire Rescue stated on social media that the northbound lanes of I-75 are currently closed at mile marker 357 due to a “major traffic accident.”
