Free panther movie screening at Fort King park

The city will host an “After Dark in the Park” movie screening of Path of the Panther, which delves into the uncharted world of the Florida panther.

The event begins at 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, at the park, which is located at which is located at 3925 E. Fort King St. in Ocala.

The 2022 feature film The Path of the Panther will be screened during the event. The movie is a deep dive into the uncharted world of the Florida panther. It’s a race against time to reveal the natural history of an icon surviving in an ancient ecosystem.

The screening is free and open to the public. Those in attendance are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets.

Snacks, drinks, and other refreshments will also be available for purchase.
