County officials issued a low-flying aircraft warning that will impact the Carney Island and Lake Weir areas over the next couple of days.
On Thursday, the Marion County government advised that on Friday, March 15, and Saturday, March 16, aircraft will fly low in the areas of Carney Island and Lake Weir.
According to the county, the aircraft flight patterns stem from a “private event” that is being staged within the Carney Island Recreation and Conservation Area.
No times were specified as to when the aircraft may be flying low.
