According to OPD, an investigation was launched after a cyber tip was received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The cyber tip indicated that Reynolds was storing multiple files of child sexual abuse material on an online account.

An OPD detective obtained a search warrant for Reynolds’ home, and a stolen firearm was allegedly found inside the residence during the search. In addition, the police department stated that images depicting child pornography were found on Reynolds’ cellphone.

Reynolds is currently being held at Marion County Jail on a $65,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on April 23, 2024, according to jail records.

According to Ocala police, a detective with the Millen Police Department had reached out to OPD regarding an online chat investigation involving a male suspect in Ocala who had initiated a “sexually explicit conversation” with an undercover Georgia detective.

OPD stated that one of its detectives assisted Millen police with identifying the suspect as Thomson and subpoenaing his social media messaging platforms for additional subscriber information.

Thomson was located, interviewed, and ultimately placed under arrest for transmission of harmful material to a minor via phone, soliciting a child to engage in sexual conduct, and unlawful use of a two-way communication device.

Thomson is currently being held at Marion County Jail on a $30,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on April 16, 2024, according to jail records.

According to Ocala police, the cyber tip indicated that Velazquez Sanabria was storing multiple files of child sexual abuse material on an online account. After retrieving more information on his accounts and obtaining a search warrant for his residence, OPD detectives searched the home and discovered “deplorable living conditions.”

OPD stated that the living conditions in the home were “so bad” that Velazquez Sanabria’s fianceé and children were living in a shed on the property. There was a “foul odor” coming from trash that was found throughout the home, and detectives observed insects, rotting food, and exposed electrical wires hanging out of the wall.

The shed that Velazquez Sanabria, his fiancée, and children were living in was in a “similar deplorable condition” and had no heat source. The children told detectives that they were not allowed to have snacks, according to OPD.

Velazquez Sanabria and his fiancée were both charged with child neglect. In addition, he was charged with 23 counts of possession of child pornography.

Velazquez Sanabria is currently being held at Marion County Jail on a $355,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on April 2, 2024, according to jail records.
