A multi-acre property in Marion County was just sold for slightly over $3.1 million, following several other large multi-acre property sales.
A large portion of a 234.66-acre site at 6975 NW 135th Avenue, was sold by Leslie, Jereme, and Joshua Jennings to Merrygoround Farm, LLC, for $3,125,500 on January 29, according to a deed filed with the Marion County Clerk of Courts.
The acreage is situated in the northwest portion of unincorporated Marion County, just west of U.S. Hwy 27, near Levy County.
The site is split into two parcels, with one being 101.66 acres in size and the other being 133 acres in size. Only the larger of the two sites was sold, according to the seller.

State corporate records show that Merrygoround Farm, LLC, is owned by Chuck and Dianna Orona. The Oronas are also registered owners of Elite Concrete, LLC, which occupies the property directly to the north of the newly purchased site.
According to her social media profiles, Mrs. Orona is the owner of Fox Creek Farm, which bills itself as the “oldest and largest breeder of German Riding Ponies in North America.”
